In 2006, structural engineer Derek Halston walked off a job site after watching a crew install a $180,000 roof with no vapor barrier, misaligned flashings, and inadequate ventilation. He didn't complain. He started TITANTOP.

The premise was radical for a trade company: treat every roof like a precision-engineered structural system, not a cosmetic upgrade. Document everything. Certify every crew member. Never shortcut a single step of the installation protocol.
